App vs. Browser: Which Path Is Best for You

Device Compatibility and System Requirements
Our Android app requires Android 7.0 or later. Most phones sold in the past six years meet this requirement. Check your device's Settings > About to see your current Android version; if it is 7.0 or higher, you can install the klubkaya APK. iOS users need iOS 12 or later to access our web app comfortably; older devices may experience slower performance. Web browsers need a modern HTML5-compliant browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge from the past two years.
Older devices (Android 6 and below, iOS 11 and below) may still load klubkaya but with reduced performance—tables may stream at lower quality, markets may update with slight delays, and some visual effects may not display correctly. We recommend updating your device OS if you plan to play frequently.
Common Installation Issues and Fixes
Android users may see a warning "Install apps from unknown sources?" when opening the APK. This is a security prompt—you must enable this permission in Settings > Apps & Notifications > Special App Access > Install Unknown Apps, then select the file manager or browser where you downloaded the APK. Once you allow it, installation proceeds normally. This does not make your phone unsafe; it simply means you are installing from a source outside Google Play Store.
If you receive a certificate error, clear your browser cache (Safari: Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data) and try downloading the APK again. If installation stalls, restart your phone and retry. If the app crashes after install, uninstall it, free up storage space, and reinstall. Most issues resolve within one retry. If problems persist, contact our support team through the in-app help section or via email.
Data, Permissions, and Your klubkaya Account Security
The klubkaya app requests permission to access your device's location (for jurisdiction verification and regional market serving), camera (for optional KYC photo verification during account opening), microphone (not currently used, but reserved for future video support), and phone contacts (not used; you can deny this safely). Critically, we never access your contacts or location without your explicit permission, and you can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings without affecting your account.
All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted with SSL/TLS. Your account password is hashed—we do not store it in readable form and cannot recover it. When you log in, your session token is stored securely on your device and expires automatically after a set idle period. If your device is lost or stolen, your account remains protected by your password; an unknown person cannot access it without your credentials. You can reset your password anytime in your account settings, which immediately invalidates all active sessions on other devices.
